Black and White Photography and Why you Need to Love it

How do you feel about black and white photography? Not what do you think about it, how do you feel?

Black and white photography typically involves more feeling. An artist often chooses black and white when there is something strong being displayed - an emotional moment between two lovers, a mother and daughter connecting eyes, a family with heads thrown back in laughter. Black and white is so useful in these moments because there is less to distract the eye from what the artist wants you to focus on.

So in a new series, I’m going to show you moments of love and connection in black and white. Don’t forget to tell me what you think by liking this blog post or leaving a comment.

Let me know if you like these moments in black and white or would rather them be vibrant in colour.
